Sunny Health Personal Information Protection Policy

The Company is active in a variety of businesses in line with its corporate philosophy of health, beauty, and safety. Through the Company’s participation in these businesses, the Company is keenly aware of the importance of protecting the personal information of customers. Therefore, in order to provide the greatest level of security to our customers, the Company will comply with the laws, regulations and commercial best practices related to the protection of personal information. In relation thereto, the Company shall establish the Personal Information Protection Policy below, make it known to employees, and endeavor to maintain a structure for the protection of the personal information of customers that is collected and handled by the Company.


1.Acquisition of Personal Information

When acquiring personal information, the Company shall use lawful and fair means to obtain such information and explain the purpose for which the information will be used to the customer to the extent necessary to achieve the purposes of this Policy.


2.Purpose of Use of Personal Information

Personal information such as customer name, address, telephone number, date of birth, etc. may be used for the following purposes.
The purposes of use described below may be changed by the Company from time to time, but only to the extent it deems reasonably necessary. In the event of any change, the Company will notify or announce the new purpose of use to customers. We will not use your personal information for any purpose other than the following unless we obtain your prior consent for such use.

  • Product shipping, payment settlement, credit management, delivery of catalogs and DMs, counseling, and after-sales service of Mail Order Sales Business and Store Business
  • Review of membership information registration and other matters incidental to the management of the business of the Company
  • The introduction of new businesses, products and services, and the providing useful information for the health, beauty, and safety of customers
  • Questionnaires, and surveys and analyses aimed at improving our services
  • Information on events and other events held by the Company
  • Responding to inquiries from customers
  • Other services incidental to the business of the Company.

3.Implementation of Personal Information Safety Measures

In order to ensure the accuracy and safety of the personal information of customers, the Company shall implement necessary and appropriate security measures for the protection of personal information according to prevailing business conditions, such as the nature of our business operations and the type of the personal information handled. The Company shall handle the personal information appropriately and cautiously in accordance with the Company’s internal regulations, and endeavor to prevent unauthorized access to personal information or loss, leakage, damage, alteration, etc. of personal information. In addition, when it is deemed necessary to improve safety measures based on the results of internal audits, actual examples of market security incidents, and requests from customers and employees, we will promptly take measure to improve the safety of customer personal information stored by the Company.


4.Provision of Personal Information to a Third Party

Unless otherwise stipulated by law, we will not provide your personal information to a third party without your consent.


5.Consignment of Personal Information

The personal information of customers may be consigned by the Company to certain third parties to the extent necessary to achieve the purposes of such use. Prior to entrusting a third party with a customer’s personal information, the Company shall ensure such third party to whom personal information is consigned shall be capable of properly handling the personal information and conclude an agreement with such party in relation to the protection of such personal information, including confidentiality obligations in relation to the personal information. In addition, the Company shall manage and monitor the use of the personal information in an appropriate manner by regularly collecting reports from third parties entrusted with such personal information to ensure that such information is handled appropriately by such third parties.
Note: The Company may consign personal information to third parties for uses such as: delivery of products, printing and shipping of direct mail, settlement services, credit and debt collection, research companies that analyze service improvements of the Company, etc.


6.Notice, Disclosure, Correction, or Suspension of Use of Personal Information

In the event the customer notifies the Company the customer wished to receive notification of the purpose of use of personal information, correct, make additions to, or delete their personal information, or request for the Company to suspend the use, to delete or to suspend provision to a third party of their personal information, the Company shall sincerely and promptly respond to such request after confirming the identity of the customer.


7.Continuous improvement of the internal management system (Personal Information Protection Compliance Program) to protect personal information

The Company will continuously improve its compliance program through internal audits and a review of the Personal Information Protection Compliance Program conducted by representatives of the Company in order to maintain the adequate performance of such program at all times.
